Paul Fahey is one of Europe's most experienced self-storage entrepreneurs, with 27 years across the UK and continental Europe. He has owned and developed 30 facilities — around 2 million sq ft across seven brands — completing six portfolio exits to major operators. A former Chairman of the SSA UK and Founding President of FEDESSA, Paul brings unmatched operational depth and proven value creation to SSPMI clients seeking to strengthen performance and maximise equity value.

Michael's career spans more than 30 years of European self-storage. He co-founded Shurgard in Europe and led its expansion into England, France and Scandinavia. He founded SelStor in Stockholm in 2006 (sold to Pelican in 2012), and 24Storage in 2014, Europe's first fully digital self-storage platform, sold to Nuveen Real Estate in 2021 for SEK 2.1 billion. He serves as Executive Chairman of Storeinn and brings deep expertise in acquisitions, conversions, operations and digital transformation.

Ubbe leads Storeinn's strategic advisory and investment work across Europe, partnering with owners and investors on entry, expansion and exit. He has guided businesses and executed transactions across the Nordics and Europe.

He sits on the Executive Board of FEDESSA and is Chairman of the Swedish Self Storage Association. For SSPMI clients Ubbe leads the business and financial analysis and the strategic implementation of operating systems, including artificial intelligence where it measurably improves how a portfolio is run.

Rory spent nearly ten years with EasyBox Italy — seven as Operations Director — helping deliver Italy's first purpose-built self-storage facility, adding five sites to more than double the portfolio of the country's largest operator, whilst upgrading ageing assets to institutional standards and transforming operational performance ahead of exit. Returning to the UK in 2025, he became Joint Managing Director of Storage World. With expertise across commercial strategy, operations, property and asset management, and three fund and REIT exits, he advises operators across Europe through SSPMI.

Ben brings ten years of self-storage experience across the UK and Italy. As Joint Managing Director of Storage World — a Greater Manchester operator — he also advises operators internationally on sales, marketing and performance. Previously at Easybox Selfstorage as Business Operations Manager, he led multi-site operations, drove efficiency improvements and delivered a company-wide rebrand. Ben combines hands-on operational leadership with a data-driven approach to occupancy growth and operational excellence.

Marc co-founded Storage World and led it from inception through to exit, building the Manchester operator that now serves as the Group's UK benchmark for customer experience and operating standards. His self-storage marketing credentials were further shaped leading the function for Easybox in Italy, and he brings broader commercial perspective from a background in UK leasing and finance. Marc's blend of founder instinct and marketing expertise makes him a distinctive voice in the sector.

Paul is a sales specialist with roots in the banking sector and 15 years supporting self-storage businesses across the UK, Italy, Germany and Ireland. Through SSPMI, he works with operators on sales performance, commercial optimisation and team development — embedding practical selling behaviours rather than just performance plans. His experience across multiple markets gives clients a commercially sharp, internationally grounded perspective on what drives sales results.

Jacci is a self-storage operations specialist with more than 20 years in the sector, built across Spaces Self Storage, Big Storage and Flexispace. Now a Director of Storage World, she leads operational management, process development and the day-to-day disciplines that turn a performance plan into results on the floor. With deep practical experience and a structured approach, she ensures the businesses she works with execute consistently and improve continuously.

John is an experienced commercial and corporate banker with extensive expertise in funding business expansion, acquisitions and property development. As a former Relationship Director with a leading UK bank, specialising in the self-storage sector, he brings valuable insight into funding strategy, financial performance, business planning and creating sustainable shareholder value.

Niamh has built her experience from the ground up in self-storage, working across front-line sales, day-to-day operations and marketing support. Her practical, floor-level perspective gives her a genuine understanding of what makes a storage business work — and what gets in the way. That combination of operational and commercial exposure makes her a well-rounded contributor to storage projects of all kinds.
